The piece was created as part of a sound art project called 'The Orange Garden' curated by citiesandmemory.com.
A field recording captured in the Parco Savello in Rome, known locally as The Orange Garden, was shared with over thirty different sound artists and musicians as each were invited to craft their own musical response to the recording.

The project seemed to be a perfect opportunity for collaboration between old friends Kit Monteith and Al Sundvall and Garden Of Glass is the resulting track.

Their approach stemmed from the idea of taking a kind of sonic photograph; Looping a short moment from the original field recording and bringing that point in time to the forefront, zooming in and around it, whilst imagining all the particles making up the atmosphere of the garden in that instant.
